Terms of service: JQL Function Pack for Jira

Last updated: 27 October 2026

These terms are between you, the organisation that installs the Jira Cloud app JQL Function Pack for Jira ("the app"), and Datadelight ("we"). By installing or using the app you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not install the app.

The app

The app runs on Atlassian Forge. It adds JQL functions that find sprint scope changes, work items in sprints by their dates, and subtasks or parents of the work items another query matches. It only reads your Jira data and changes nothing in your work items. Your use of Jira itself is governed by your agreement with Atlassian.

Your licence

While the app is installed, you may use it on your Jira Cloud sites for your own business. You may not resell, sublicense or reverse engineer it, or use it to break the law or Atlassian's terms.

Your responsibility for results

Check results before you rely on them. A search can be an hour or more behind a change in Jira, because the app updates only some of its saved answers every five minutes, as many as the requests Jira allows it, so each one is updated about every 40 minutes or less often, and longer on a site with many hundreds of saved searches, where one update cannot reach them all. A function returns no results, and says why, when its answer would list more than 1,000 work items or sprints, when it would read more than 10,000 work items, or when it needs longer than Jira allows. A quoted query runs as the app, so whether a parent is returned can depend on a child the person searching cannot see.

Fees

If the app is offered for a fee, Atlassian bills you for it through the Atlassian Marketplace, on Atlassian's terms. We do not bill you directly.

Your data

The app keeps no storage of its own and sends nothing outside Atlassian. Jira saves the app's answers in your Jira site. Our privacy policy explains what the app reads, what Jira saves and what the app logs.

Support

Contact support@accounts.datadelight.co. We aim to help, but we do not promise a response time unless we agree one with you in writing.

Changes to the app and these terms

We may change or stop offering the app. If we stop offering it, we will give reasonable notice where we can. We may update these terms. The new version applies from the date shown above, and continuing to use the app means you accept it.

No warranty

The app is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, we give no warranty that it is error-free or fits a particular purpose.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for lost profits, data or business. Our total liability is limited to the fees you paid for the app in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and its courts have jurisdiction.
